Wellesley Masters Swimming makes its home in the beautiful Chandler Pool at Wellesley College which is located in the southern building of the Keohane Sports Center complex. The pool is 8 lanes by 25 yards with an attached diving well separated by a bulkhead and is kept at an optimal training temperature of 80 degrees to prevent athlete overheating.
Due to the limited use the pool enjoys, Chandler Pool is known for the clarity and quality of it’s water as well as the cleanliness of its locker room facilities. Large windows on all sides of the pool ensure an abundance of natural light fills the building and our Masters Swimmers frequently get to enjoy sun rises and sun sets during practice.
Morning swimmers need to enter the pool through the double gray doors on the western side of the pool facing the athletic field. Night swimmers can enter the pool through the main Keohane Sports Center lobby. ViewWellesley’s Campus Map to get your bearings.
